I grew up about two and a half hours north of Pittsburgh in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Harbor Creek High School in 2012, I began pharmacy school at Duquesne University. I am currently a PYIII student in the program and am involved in pharmaceutical research and various student organizations. I chose to attend Duquesne for my education due to the impressive reputation, welcoming atmosphere, structured curriculum, and excellent faculty to student ratio. I initially chose to pursue the profession of pharmacy because of my drive to help others, my interest in being an active member of my community, and my love for science and math. I have worked in both compounding and home infusion pharmacy and hope to work in one of these settings upon graduation from the program due to the amazing experiences and skills I have gained in each setting. When I am not studying or doing homework, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dogs, kayaking, and watching movies.
